Texel as a holiday destination

You won’t need much convincing to realize that Texel is a great holiday destination.  Only twenty minutes by boat from Den Helder you will find an oasis of tranquility, space, and nature. Recently the island was even votedas one of the best European holiday destinations by Lonely Planet.

Texel offers a variety of possibilities. Not only will you find beautiful and diverse nature reserves, but there is plenty more to discover and experience. De Dennen

Our luxurious 8-person villas “The Zandkes,” “The Roggesloot,” and “Duinbraam” and the luxery homes Blauwe Kiekendief, Bruine Kiekendief and Grauwe Kiekendief (Wellness) are located near De Dennen. The De Dennen nature reserve is part of the “Dunes of Texel” National Park and is full of possibilities. In the immediate vicinity are several nice restaurants and the bustling villages of Den Burg and De Koog.

De Cocksdorp

De Cocksdorp is located in the north of Texel. Here you will find our luxurious 8-person accommodations “De Velduil” and “De Bosuil.” Located in a hollow in the dunes and surrounded by forest, these villas offer an abundance of privacy. De Cocksdorp is a cozy village with several shops and places to eat. Visit the lighthouse or discover the special nature reserve De Slufter. Near De Slufter we offer the luxury holiday homes 'Princenhof 6 guests' and 'Princenhof 8 guests'.

Oosterend

Oosterend (the east side) is less known as a holiday destination, but no less nice. As you walk through the nearby village Oosterend, it feels as if time has stood still. Our island lodges “The Zilvering,” “De Gouden Rijder,” and “De Daalder” are located on the Florin farm in a former fishing village. These accommodations are also situated near the Wadden Sea.

Den Hoorn

Den Hoorn is a charmingly tranquil village for your holiday on Texel. Stroll through the picturesque streets or make a culinary stop at one of the restaurants (including a star restaurant!). In Den Hoorn we offer the 6-person holiday home “'t Wambuis.” “'T Wambuis” is a national monument, located on the outskirts of the village and under a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. This is an ideal homebase to fully enjoy Texel.

De Koog

We offer luxurious and sustainable 6-person holiday homes in the recently-built nature villa park Bleekersvallei (est. 2019) near De Koog. The 4-person bungalow Zilte Bries is also located in De Koog. De Koog is the perfect holiday spot for anyone who loves the combination of beach and fun. The seaside resort offers a variety of dining options and a large number of shops.
