A house with history
This beautiful home is a protected townscape. A beautiful house for six people, but can you imagine that this house used to be inhabited by two large families? Until early last century, 't Wambuis was in use as so-called 'poor rooms' of the reformed church across the road. With two families living was tight and that while the local fire hose was also stationed there at the time. The exterior of the house is still fully intact and really picturesque. The inside of the house has been completely renovated. The new interior meets today’s modern standards.
The home is light and warm with a cozy feel. Very different than the 'poor rooms' must have felt like in the past. The open kitchen is modern and offers all the appliances you need. The living room has a wood burning stove. The three bedrooms have comfortable beds and both bathrooms are equipped with a toilet and rain shower. One of them even has a sun shower. You will have a great stay in this vacation home where tranquility and comfort combined with the panoramic view form the basis for your vacation.
